For older travellers, quieter families, or anyone prioritising sleep and food quality, absolutely yes. Ikoyi has better restaurants per square kilometre than either Lekki or VI, and the walking experience is genuinely enjoyable. Only downside is nightclub distance — you’ll cab to VI for that.
Room rates are 30-50% higher than equivalent Lekki hotels, but restaurant prices are similar. If you don’t need pool and beach amenities, and you eat out, the total spend evens out closer than the sticker price suggests. Ikoyi is worth the premium for 3-4 night stays.
