Radisson Blu Anchorage on Ozumba Mbadiwe (technically VI, but every Lekki cab knows it) still has the cleanest rooftop water in the corridor, with the lagoon on one side and Ikoyi on the other. Lopez Hotel in Lekki Phase 1 comes next: smaller pool, sharper skyline, and a bar that stays quiet until about 8pm. The Wheatbaker is Ikoyi, not Lekki, but if you want silence and a lap-length pool with actual shade, it beats anything on Admiralty Way.
The George in Ikoyi rounds out this tier for anyone willing to drive ten minutes off the peninsula. Its rooftop is small but the water is heated in harmattan, which nobody else bothers with. Expect to pay ₦180,000-₦280,000 a night across these four, and book weekends two weeks out because the pool decks get booked for private events with almost no warning.
Mid-range rooftops worth the compromise
Bature Brewery's boutique rooms in Lekki Phase 1 share a small plunge pool that's more social than swim-worthy, but the rooftop bar next door is the best in the area. The Vine Hotel on Admiralty Way has a decent rectangular pool, though the surrounding buildings have grown taller and the view is now mostly generators. Blowfish Hotel in VI has a poolside crowd that skews Sunday-brunch loud; go midweek for calm.
Avoid any listing that calls a ground-floor pool 'rooftop' because the rooms above it have balconies. That's a courtyard pool with a marketing team. Ask for a photo taken from the pool looking out, not down at it, and you’ll filter out about half of Booking.com's Lekki inventory in one message.
