Who it suits
Osapa London sits between Agungi and Jakande, running from the expressway down to the lagoon. The name comes from a 1990s estate that gave the whole area its character — planned streets, wider than average, mostly two- and three-storey builds. Hotels are limited but short-lets are abundant, and the mid-tier ones (Bemuchi Osapa, Best Western signature properties in the area) sit around ₦65,000-₦85,000.
It suits returning visitors who found Phase 1 too loud and Chevron too corporate. It also suits couples — the density is right for walking to dinner and back without needing a driver, but the crowds are half of Phase 1's.
Who it does not suit
Anyone with early meetings in Victoria Island. Osapa adds 10-15 minutes each way over Phase 1, and morning traffic makes that hurt. Anyone chasing Lagos nightlife — the two decent lounges in Osapa close at midnight on weeknights, and the main clubs are back on Admiralty Way or in Oniru.
It is also not for budget travellers. Genuinely cheap options here are thin — you cannot easily find ₦25,000 rooms the way you can in Ajah or Ikota.
What is within walking distance
The Freedom Way extension that cuts through Osapa has become one of the better restaurant strips in Lekki — Miliki, Sao Cafe, Craft Gourmet, plus a Lebanese place or two and an Ebeano supermarket at the eastern end. From most Osapa apartments you can walk 10 minutes to at least six restaurants, a pharmacy and an ATM. Circle Mall is a longer walk (25 minutes) or a two-minute Bolt.

Yes, used interchangeably. Locals shorten it to Osapa; older signs and estate deeds say Osapa London.
How does it compare to Ikate?+
Similar price bracket. Ikate is closer to Elegushi Beach and Circle Mall; Osapa has a slightly nicer street feel and better restaurants clustered together.
