The honest picture on 'adults-only'
No hotel in Lekki markets itself as strictly adults-only in the Caribbean or Bali sense — the market is too small and Nigerian family travel is central. What you’ll find instead are hotels where children are technically allowed but the design, price point and vibe make them rare. Maison Fahrenheit in VI is the clearest example: 40 rooms, no kids' menu, no play area, and midweek you’ll see almost no children.
The Wheatbaker in Ikoyi is similarly adult-skewed: business travellers midweek, couples on weekends, no pool inflatables. Bature Brewery's boutique rooms sit above a working brewery and bar, so the crowd self-selects. These are your best three for a quiet stay.
Adult-focused resort stays
Lakowe Lakes allows children but the villas are widely spaced and the golf-course setting attracts a mostly adult crowd. Ask for a lakefront villa away from the main pool if you want quiet. La Campagne Tropicana in Ibeju-Lekki is more family-heavy on weekends but midweek and outside December is calm — book Sunday-to-Thursday.
Skip Eko Hotel and Radisson if you’re kid-averse; both are large hotels that host weddings and family reunions, and the pool areas can be loud on Saturdays. If quiet is non-negotiable, ask at booking whether the hotel has any events scheduled for your dates. Most reception staff will tell you honestly.
